About

Hi, I'm Victor.

I've always liked two things: figuring out how something works, and making something that works for someone else.
Tutoring and building software are, to me, the same instinct pointed in two directions — take something complicated and make it clear, useful and yours.

In my own words

When I tutor, I'm not trying to get you through tonight's homework. I'm trying to get you to the moment where a concept stops being a rule you memorized and starts being something you actually understand. That moment is the whole job — everything else is just helping you reach it.

“Understand why it works, and the how takes care of itself.”

Building software is the same feeling from the other side. A small business owner doesn't want to hear about frameworks — they want a website that brings in customers and that they aren't afraid to touch. So I do the technical part, then hand it all over: the domain, the accounts, the code. No lock-in, no monthly ransom, no calling me to change a phone number.

I work alone, on purpose. It means you talk to the person doing the work, prices are honest because there's no one to mark them up, and nothing gets lost between an account manager and a developer. It's slower to scale and I'm fine with that. I'd rather do a few things properly than many things at arm's length.

What I hold to

Character, not a slide deck.

Clarity
If I can't explain it plainly, I don't understand it well enough yet. Jargon is usually hiding something.
Honesty
Upfront prices, real timelines, and a straight answer when something isn't the right fit for you.
Ownership
What you pay for belongs to you — the understanding, the code, the accounts. I build independence, not dependence.
Patience
Everyone learns and decides at their own pace. I'd rather go slow and have it stick than rush and have it slip.
If any of that sounds like the kind of person you'd want to work with — I'd genuinely like to hear from you.
Say hello
